My eyes close involuntarily
My cheeks hurt from smiling
The sheets are warm against my bare back
The sunlight's warm against my eyelids
The faint scent of oranges and grass tickles my nose
As I fall asleep
In the arms
Of not my LoveLonely, but a different beast entirely.
The beginning of a New and Unfamiliar Me. -- a happy me.
