False Reflections (a short scene)

Something about my reflection made me burst out in laughter. That's me? ha. Nice joke. But that cannot be me. Everything that's going on inside my head cannot possibly all fit inside that tiny body. I look in the mirror and expect to see a sandstorm, a raving tsunami ready to wash away the little sanity I have left. But all I see is a little girl. A frightened little girl who just wishes her mom would wake up and comfort her after a bad dream.
